Officers Shoot, Kill Man Who Opened Fire at NY Court

The gunman went to the vestibule at City Court and fired at the security officers. Police investigate the scene of a shooting at the Middletown court building Wednesday, Feb. 8, 2012 in Middletown, N.Y. Authorities say a man who fired a shotgun at an upstate New York courthouse has been wounded by a court officer. Eyewitnesses say the gunman was spotted on the steps of Middletown City Hall at about 9 a.m. Wednesday.
